License Activation
All the HighTec products need a license. To get the license, you can either use activation wizard or apply for a new license. To apply for an evaluation license, click here, :https://hightec-rt.com/en/support/license/evaluation[]. For evaluation of our PXROS-HR real-time operating system, or software libraries like MCAL or SafeTlib, contact our support team here, https://hightec-rt.com/en/support/contact-us.
Toolchain activation
To activate your toolchain, open the license manager (), and click create a new license 
buton. Fill in the Activation and Registration form and click 
.
The activation process validates your Activation Key, and if it is valid, it creates a new license in the licenses folder.
NOTE: The activation key for the evaluation license is automatically pre-filled.
Obtaining a License
Another option for how to get an evaluation license is to use your activation code to register your product on the following website: http://register.hightec-rt.com/. After the registration, you get the node-lock license(license.lic) via an email.
To get a full product license, please contact our sales department at email sales@hightec-rt.com.
Installing a License
Once you have received your license file (license.lic), click to Add a new license 
buton within the License Manager. Use 
and navigate to the location of the obtained license file. Click to finalize the license installation.
License path
The IDE stores all the installed licenses according to the License Paths configuration. See the Manage License Path chapter for more details.
