Remove file from a Project

You can delete any file or folder from your project by selecting the file and press Delete key or right-click on file name  Delete.

When you confirm by clicking to the , the IDE delete the file from the file system.

If you want to delete linked resource (file or folder), the procedure is the same. The only difference is that IDE only deletes the link leaving the file in its location.
